Assistant Teachers

Ms. Edna Atterberry has worked in the District since 1987 – 34 years!  She loves the staff & she loves working with young people.  Ms. Atterberry graduated in 1979 from Alcorn State University with a BS in Special Education. 

Mrs. Evelyn Bryant has worked for several years in the District.  She wears many hats at RPMS.  In the mornings she supervises as students load and unload the buses, and during the school day she manages the Computer Lab and wherever she is needed.  Mrs. Bryant loves her family, fellow staff, and the students.  She enjoys working with young people and learning new things.  Mrs. Bryant attended Jackson State University and is an avid fan!

Ms. Shevitra Cephus is an Assistant Teacher in the Self-Contained Class at Rod Paige Middle School. She has been working in the school district since 2009. She is a graduate of Lawrence County High School Class of 1998. She is a graduate of Copiah-Lincoln Community College and attended Alabama A&M University.
