Costume Day!!! Friday the 31st !

Costume Day!!! As a student incentive for good behavior and having no major discipline referrals to the office, students who maintain positive behavior through this Thursday will be allowed to wear costumes on Friday. Students CAN NOT wear masks with their costumes but they will be allowed to wear face paint. Costumes must follow basic dress code rules of not being too short, too tight, and not showing any inappropriate body parts. Costumes also cannot contain any inappropriate, vulgar, racial, or gang related designs or logos.

Basketball Tryouts!

If there's any 7th or 8th grade girl interested in trying out for basketball, please respond by email to Marva.atterberry@lawcosd.org by Thursday with your first and last name. Tryouts will be Sept. 28th and 29th from 3-5. However, you must have a current physical in dragonfly or bring it with you the day of tryouts. No student will be allowed to tryout without a physical.

Soccer Camp!

" Soccer Skills Kids Camp sponsored by the Lawrence County High School Soccer Teams will be held on Saturday, October 3rd, 2020 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This camp is available to children in grades K-6th. The cost of the camp is $30 per child. Parents can register their children at the High School Office starting on Tuesday 9/22/20. Baseball Tryouts!

Jr. High Baseball Tryouts have been rescheduled to Thursday, October 1st from 4-6 at the High School Baseball Field. This tryout is available to 7th and 8th grade male students at Topeka-Tilton Attendance Center, Rod Paige Middle School, and New Hebron Attendance Center.  Each participant must have an up to date physical in Dragonfly or with them the day of the tryout. To register their child, a parent must email Coach John Floyd at and respond by Wednesday, September 30, 2020. "
