Mrs. Bass's Scientific Experience

Hello Guys,

I am Nicole Funches-Bass and I am a 1997 graduate of Lawrence County High School, a 2003 graduate from Jackson State University ("THEE") with a Bachelors degree in Biology, and 2010 graduate of William Carey University with a Masters in the Arts of Teaching.

I am the proud mother of 3 wonderful children, Maria (25), Landon (19), and Logan (12).

I began my teaching career in 2004 as a GED educator at the Lawrence County Alternative School.  My 16 years in education have been solely dedicated to this district from which I plan to retire.  I have experience on both middle and high school levels, teaching General Science, Intro to Biology, Biology I and II, and Physical Science.

It has always been my passion to help people and to see them do great things.  What better way to do that than to become an educator.  These kids are our future and I pray that I am providing them with the things they need to be successful in life.
